TreeYoga creator Hal Pruessner and his wife, friends, and a gaggle of willing yoginis began the process of testing prototype slings and discovering postures through the Spring and Summer of 2007, launching the final product at the Yoga Journal Conference in Estes Park, Colorado in September 2007.

In June 2009, Laura King joined the TreeYoga team, coordinating workshops, events and marketing. Together Laura and Hal create unique workshops and events, introducing individuals to the beauty of this amazing practice.
